The Akashvani Bhawan which is also known as the All India Radio or AIR was established in the year 1956 and this literally means the Voice of the Sky. This stands for the National Public Radio Broadcaster in India and it is also a part of the Prasar Bharati. The prior date of establishment want in the year 1930 and it is considered to be the sister service of the Prasar Bharati’s Doordarshan. This is the National Public Television Broadcaster.
